Gatwick Park Mechanical Services Ltd was established in June 1980.
The company has always been a family-run and owned concern, initially having been set-up by mechanical engineer, Colin Coote and his wife, Audrey. It is now run by their son and daughter, Martin and Jenny.
1980sā¦ opened for business but not in the anticipated offices in Gatwick Park Road, after which the company is named, but in Oxted, Surreyā¦ sponsors Lingfield U12 football team for a number of seasons, as well as club racer, Brian Wray (pictured above at Brands Hatch) … moves offices to Westerham, Kent.
1990sā¦ moves offices to Caterham, Surrey, where the company stays for fifteen years.
2000sā¦ Colin retires and hands over the reigns to Martin & Jennyā¦ moves offices to Pond Farm in Lingfield, Surrey.
2010sā¦ moves offices to current premises in Horsham, West Sussex
